Pray and Play - Certified childcare provided for 6 months - 4 years. Drop off at the school, the Early Childhood Room 101. No registration or fees. Call Kathy (773) 287-1605 for details.
Liturgy of the Word - for children 4-12 years old, where they are dismissed for child-friendly religious instruction and returned to the pew during mass. During the first full weekend of the month, children remain in the Church through the mass. Call Donna (708) 771-8098 for details.

Hospitality Weekends
During the first full weekend of every month (except January and July), St. Bernardine Church promotes community spirit among current parishioners and welcomes newcomers after the 5 PM Saturday, 8 AM Sunday and 9:30 AM Sunday masses. Beverages and food are served in the school cafeteria. This is a wonderful opportunity to socialize with people you already know and meet new people too.

Holy Sacraments

Reconciliation:
Saturday, 4:00 to 4:45 or call the Rectory at (708) 366-0839.

Weddings:
Please call the rectory at (708) 366-0839 and make an appointment with a priest as soon as possible (at least 6 months in advance).

Baptism:
Baptisms are held on the second Sunday of each month at 12:45 PM. Mandatory meeting for parents is held the 1st Wednesday in the Rectory Basement at 7:30 PM. Call 366-0839.

Care of the Sick:
Please inform the rectory of anyone confined at home or hospitalized.

Classes for public grammar school students:
Saturdays, 9:15 - 10:30 (K - 5th grade)
Thursday, 7:15 - 8:15 PM (6th - 8th grade)
